Sakala was started over ten years ago as a micro business in Cobblestone Walk. We then took the next step and moved to our High Street premises where we are today – we hope you enjoy the community vibe we have created. We source about 90% of the goods we sell from people we have longstanding relationships with.  People – that sounds very cold – as many, in fact most, are now friends.  We have watched their family’s  journey over the past 12 years, with children grown, many of them now married and having children of their own.
